Description
A CO2 heated regulator is a specialized gas control valve fitted with an electric heating element to prevent the regulator from freezing during high-flow or continuous CO2 delivery — a feature recognised in the IS 6901:2009 / ISO 2503:1998 standard for gas pressure regulators. Regulators under this standard are typically built to Class 0 (rated inlet up to 200 bar, outlet 2 bar) or Class 1 (outlet 4 bar) specifications, both delivering a standard discharge of 2 m³/h. The cylinder-valve outlet connection commonly follows IS 3224-2002 Outlet No. 7 (W21.8 x 1.814-RH).
