Description
This L-225 rubber coupling is the elastomeric spider insert used in L-series (Lovejoy-type) jaw couplings, a standard size rated for hubs with bores up to 2.625in (65mm). Spiders in this size are typically made from NBR (nitrile) rubber at 80A±5A Shore hardness, rated for roughly 264 Nm (2,340 in-lbs) of torque, an operating range of -40°C to 100°C, and up to 1 degree of angular misalignment. It's intended as a replacement wear part for L225-size jaw couplings connecting rotating shafts.
