Description
This is an M14 x 2.0mm coarse-thread nylock nut, built to the DIN 985 nylon-insert (nyloc) hex lock-nut standard. It has a width across flats of 22mm, an overall height (including the nylon collar) of up to 14mm, a minimum metal hex height of 7.7mm, and a minimum wrenching height of 9.5mm. The nylon insert grips the bolt thread to resist loosening under vibration, giving a reusable, self-locking hex nut.
