Description
A non-woven abrasive wheel consists of a three-dimensional web of nylon fibres impregnated with abrasive grains (like aluminium oxide or silicon carbide) and bound together with synthetic resins. Unlike traditional bonded grinding wheels, non-woven wheels are highly flexible, pliable, and self-sharpening, ensuring a continuous supply of new abrasive grain as the outer fibres wear down. They are primarily used for deburring, cleaning, rust removal, surface conditioning, and satin finishing on materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, wood, and plastics.
