Description
These bonded (Dowty-type) seals combine a metal outer ring with an elastomeric inner lip, sold here in ID x OD sizes of 20-40mm, 15-30mm, 20-30mm, and 32-48mm for sealing BSP or metric threaded fittings and plugs. The elastomer ring is commonly NBR (also available in FKM or EPDM), bonded to a carbon-steel, zinc-plated, or stainless-steel washer, with NBR typically rated for a service temperature range of about -40°C to 120°C. Bonded seals of this type are generically governed by standards such as ISO 3601, DIN 7603, and BS 5535.
